La Biblioteca Municipal y Archivo Histórico de Baiona se ubica en el antiguo Hospital Sancti Spiritus, construido en el siglo XVI frente a la antigua Colegiata de Santa María. Se trata de un edificio de dos plantas incrustado en la pendiente del casco histórico, que cuenta con un jardín con una huerta, pozo, y patio interior.

The new Public Library and Historic Archive is located at the former Sancti Spiritus Hospital. The existing structure was built in the 17th century behind the ex-collegiate church of Santa María. It is a two-level building embedded in the sloped historic city center with a garden and an inner courtyard.
