El Ministerio de Cultura en el año 2014 elige la propuesta “TAWAK” en el concurso nacional de ideas de arquitectura para desarrollar el nuevo centro y sede del Sistema Nacional de Museos: Museo Nacional del Perú con el objetivo de preservar, conservar, restaurar y conectar el patrimonio arqueológico nacional a la cultura viva, contribuyendo así a la consolidación de la identidad nacional contemporánea. El MUNA se localiza al oeste del área intangible del Santuario Arqueológico de Pachacamac, centro de peregrinación mas importante de la costa central en el valle de Lurin conectado a los andes por el Qhapaq Ñan, territorio que registra a través de su arquitectura 3000 años de transformaciones culturales

In 2014, the Ministry of Culture chose the «TAWAK» proposal in the national architectural ideas competition to develop the new center and headquarters of the National System of Museums: National Museum of Peru with the aim of preserving, conserving, restoring and connecting the national archaeological heritage to living culture, thus contributing to the consolidation of contemporary national identity. MUNA is located to the west of the intangible area of the Archaeological Sanctuary of Pachacamac, the most important pilgrimage center of the central coast in the Lurin Valley connected to the Andes by the Qhapaq Ñan, a territory that records through its architecture 3000 years of cultural transformations.
