La ciudad de Lima, como muchas de las ciudades del Perú, cuenta con un avanzado crecimiento en su infraestructura habitacional. Del total, el 70% se resuelve desde estrategias de autoconstrucción. Si bien el cúmulo de dichos impulsos constructivos conforma la realidad física de la ciudad, estos no necesariamente suponen la construcción
de una ciudadanía. Del mismo modo, el equipamiento educativo aumenta de manera
sostenida. Esto motiva a que las instituciones educativas apuesten por diversificar y
extender su oferta a las nuevas ciudades de Lima.

The city of Lima, like many of the cities of Peru, has an advanced growth in its housing
infrastructure. Of the total, 70% is solved from self-construction strategies. Although
the accumulation of said constructive impulses shapes the physical reality of
the city, it does not have to suppose the construction of a citizenship. In the same
way, the educational equipment increases in a sustained manner. This motivates
educational institutions to bet to diversify and extend their offer to the new cities of Lima.
