2DO PUESTO Concurso de Ideas ‘Mercados Post Covid-19’
Concurso organizado por Ideas en Pandemia y Proyecto Perú
El proyecto se resuelve a partir de insertar una trama ortogonal de columnas de concreto armado que se expanden tanto en el mercado 3 de febrero como en el mercado minorista y parte del actual parque del migrante, configurando un solo gran proyecto desde el aspecto visual, pero con programas claramente diferenciados. La estructura permite organizar el espacio del mercado, los vacíos interiores que funcionarán como patios o parques y la relación con la calle. La estrategia espacial adoptada por el proyecto permite incorporar la calle al mercado y viceversa, planteando una serie de intervenciones urbanas en el entorno inmediato al mercado, pero siguiendo las lógicas espaciales y formales del mismo.

The project is solved by inserting an orthogonal grid of reinforced concrete columns that expand both in the February 3 market and in the retail market and part of the current Migrant Park, configuring a single large project from the visual aspect, but with clearly differentiated programs. The structure allows organizing the market space, the interior voids that will function as patios or parks and the relationship with the street. The spatial strategy adopted by the project allows incorporating the street into the market and vice versa, proposing a series of urban interventions in the immediate surroundings of the market, but following the spatial and formal logics of the market.
