El teatro Alliance, fundado en 1968, es un teatro regional ganador de un premio Tony ubicado dentro del célebre campus del Centro de Artes Woodruff. La primera etapa del trabajo se centró en la cámara principal, su vestíbulo e instalaciones de soporte artístico, las que se eliminarán de las paredes de cerramiento originales de concreto. La transformación del Teatro Alliance coloca el espacio de los 650 asientos más cerca del escenario. La planificación de dicho salón optimiza líneas de sitio, utiliza rampas en vez de ascensores e integra las escaleras para proporcionar acceso a todos los niveles dentro del salón principal. Cada detalle arquitectónico busca integrar las complejas funciones del teatro en un natural movimiento escultural. Cada superficie está afinada acústicamente para otorgar un teatro de clase mundial para un patrocinio diverso y comprometido.

The Alliance, founded in 1968, is a Tony award winning regional theatre located within the celebrated Woodruff Arts Center campus. The initial phase of work focuses on the chamber, its lobby, and artistic support facilities, which will be gutted and cleared to the original concrete enclosing walls. The transformation of the Alliance Theatre pulls the 650 seat chamber 10’ closer to stage. The planning of the chamber optimizes site lines, utilizes ramping in lieu of lifts and integrates stairs to provide access to all levels within the chamber. Every architectural feature seeks to integrate the complex functions of the theatre into a seamless, sculptural environment. Each surface is tuned acoustically to deliver world class theatre to a diverse and engaged patronage.
