EVIDENCIAS RUPESTRES EN LA MARGEN SUR DEL VALLE DE ZAÑA

En este artículo se presentará un conjunto de petroglifos localizados en la margen sur del valle de Zaña, al sur del poblado de Guayaquil (distrito de Cayaltì, departamento de Lambayeque).
Se analizará la localización de estas evidencias rupestres en relación a
su entorno geográfico y cultural y su posible rol durante la ocurrencia de alteraciones climáticas producidas por El Niño, Oscilación del Sur (ENOS). Asimismo, se propone su relación con el agua, para lo cual se realizarán comparaciones con otras localidades rupestres de los valles de Moche y de Chicama.

This article will present a set of petroglyphs located on the southern margin of the Zaña valley, at the south of Guayaquil town (district of Cayaltì, department of Lambayeque, Peru).
The location of these rock evidence will be analyzed in relation to its geographical and cultural environment and its possible role during climatic alterations produced by El Niño, Southern Oscillation (ENSO). Likewise, its relationship with water is proposed, for which comparisons will be made with other rock locations in the Moche and Chicama valleys.
